Dear Parents,

 

My name is Kim Jones and I am very excited to be your child’s first grade teacher.  This is my 22nd year of teaching.  I taught kindergarten for three years in Missouri, first grade for seven years in Alabama, and this is my twelfth year teaching first grade at N.O. Nelson.  I feel privileged to have the opportunity to guide your child through his/her first grade year.  My hope is to instill in all of my students a lifelong love of learning and especially a love of reading.
